So I am listening to Don Williams right now. If you don’t know him them you should listen to the songs I have posted below.
Don Williams - Good Ole Boys Like Me
Don Williams - I Believe In You
Don Williams - Lord I Hope This Day Is Good
So I was listening to the first track there. Good Ole Boys Like Me and the line “When I was kid Uncle Remus would put me to bed” opens the song. I realized just how luck my kids are since I have found a copy of the supposedly horrible Disney movie Song Of The South. Disney has no plans for ever releasing this movie again. They have been beaten into shame by those who would call anything from the civil war era “racist”. My kids have seen this wonderful film and will see it again. It is one of the few things I have made sure is transfered from computer to computer and hard drive to hard drive. It is such a wonderful film. The stories are moral lessons that still apply in this day and age. Uncle Remus was one of my favorite characters growing up and taught me a lot about life. I mourn the fact that many children will never ever see this film thanks to the idiots who would keep this film in the vault forever. May they all rot in hell.
Although my anger is not misplaced there seems to be a chance this may actually see the light of day! Cross your fingers.

ZIP-A-DEE-DOO-DAH! Can I get a copy?
“Der aint nuthin in der but beeeeeeeeeeeez!” I love it!
